Georgia Weather Forecast: Sunny, Then Stormy, This Week

Find out when sunny skies in metro Atlanta will turn back into a chance for storms, and how warm it will get this work week.

ATLANTA, GA — After days and days of storms and showers, it looks like metro Atlanta is actually in for a few sunny days this work week. But, as can be expected this time of year, by the end of the week, we're looking at thunderstorms possibly rolling back in.

There's no rain in the forecast at all for Monday, according to the National Weather Service, and only a 20 percent chance of showers and storms on Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will range from 90-92 those days.

On Thursday, the chance for rain jumps up to 50-50, though, starting around 9 a.m. and continuing into Thursday night. On Friday, we're looking at a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms until about 9 p.m.

The likely rain won't do much to cool things off, though. We're still looking at a high of 91 on Thursday and 90 on Friday.
