It's really going to feel like springtime this week in metro Atlanta. Check out the forecast to see what you can expect through the weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — Some weeks throughout the year, we have exciting weekly weather forecasts to share with you — chock full of thunderstorms, tornado watches, freeze warnings and whatever a "wintry mix" actually is. Then, you get forecasts like this week's.

This week's weather forecast for metro Atlanta is exciting precisely because it's so boring. According to the National Weather Service, we've got nothing ahead of us this work week except for clear skies and pleasantly warm days.

Not a drop of rain is expected through Friday. And, after a high of 75 on Monday, we're looking at hitting 80 degrees every day through the weekend. This is what springtime in Atlanta is supposed to feel like, folks.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 75. Northeast wind around 5 m.p.h. becoming south in the afternoon. Monday night, clear, with a low around 52. South wind around 5 m.p.h. becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming south around 5 m.p.h. in the morning. Mostly clear Tuesday night, with a low around 57. Southeast wind around 5 m.p.h.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 82. South wind around 5 m.p.h. Wednesday night, clear, with a low around 60.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Mostly clear Thursday night, with a low around 62.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Friday night, partly cloudy, with a low around 64.
