Metro Atlanta is set for a sunny start to the work week. Find out when the National Weather Service says that may change.

ATLANTA, GA — It looks like we're in for a sunny start to the week in metro Atlanta. But by mid-week, we could be looking at thunderstorms rolling back into the area.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday will be sunny with a high of around 90 degrees. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain on Tuesday and then, on Wednesday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms shoots up to 50 percent.
That 50-50 chance will be back again on both Thursday and Friday. And we're looking at a high temperature of near 88 degrees all three of those days.
