The Greater Columbus, Ga. Home Builders Association (HBA) recently hosted its annual Legislative Fish Fry. This year’s event was held in the River City Doors warehouse, which provided a socially-distanced space for HBA members to interact with elected officials, candidates running for office, government-appointed officials and civil service employees. Pictured (L-R) are: Johnny Cargill, president of the Greater Columbus Home Builders Association, Robin Wallace, executive officer of the Greater Columbus Home Builders Association and Jim Chapman, 2020-2021 president of the Home Builders Association of Georgia, and president of Vinings-based Jim Chapman Communities. Additional attendees included Columbus Mayor Skip Henderson, Columbus City Council members, local judges, U.S. Congressman Sanford Bishop, Georgia Representative Debbie Buckner and state Senators Ed Harbison and Randy Robertson.
