Chattahoochee Alligator Can Stay, Rangers Decide
After attempting to trap a large alligator living off Cochran Shoals Trail on the Chattahoochee River, park rangers have decided to let the alligator stay put.
Portions of the Chattahoochee River Recreation area had been temporarily closed to protect the reptile. Wildlife officials were worried about the gator's safety, and stressed the alligator hadn't harmed anyone. >>> Read more.
