The Oakhurst Community Garden Project located in Decatur since 1997 recently changed its name to “Wylde Center”. As an integral part of the Atlanta community, the Wylde Center is a regional nonprofit organization which cultivates vibrant greenspaces and inspires communities of environmental stewards – a range of activities now encompassed in the new name, chosen to honor the late Sally Wylde, founder of the Oakhurst Community Garden Project.
For the last fifteen years, the Wylde Center has engaged youth, families, and individuals in their environment and health within communities through organized programs and events to develop creative skills in sustainable urban living, organic gardening, health and nutrition.
This event is 21+ only.
Sponsored by Beth Mahany & Russell and Herrera, P.C.
