LifeLine’s DeKalb Shelter Pets of the Week: Jetta, Daffodil, Essie and Peggy

Get ready to fall in love with our first pet of the week! Jetta is a pretty, seven-year-old yellow Lab mix who steals hearts wherever she goes. Even tempered and intelligent, Jetta is great with other dogs and children. She is also the tennis ball queen, and loves to find them, toss them in the air and catch them. Jetta is friendly to everyone she meets, and her smile will warm your heart.

Need some puppy love? Daffodil is all an adorable five-month-old puppy who is full of love and affection. Whether she is snuggling with you or zooming around the yard, this little girl will make you smile. Daffodil enjoys carrying her toys around, giving kisses and making everyone laugh. She plays great with all her canine friends and loves children too! Daffodil is ready to be part of your family!

Looking for a serene dog? Essie may be the one! This gentle girl has beautiful hazel eyes and a sweet, soothing personality. Essie is two year’s old, and her favorite place in the world is by her human's side. She seems to enjoy the little things like sitting in the sunshine, giving and receiving affection and socializing with other pets.

Senior dogs rock, and Peggy is no exception! This peppy 10-year-old girl may have a touch of gray on her face, but she still has plenty of energy in her step, and a big zest for life. Peggy loves making new friends just as much as she enjoys relaxing on a big, comfy bed. She lights up the room with her delightful personality and will add warmth to any home.
