In Loving Memory of James Edward Turro, Sr., 77

James Edward Turro, Sr., 77, of Decatur, Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015. Born February 11, 1938, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Peter and Ruth Turro and husband to the late Kathleen Anne Norris Turro.

James is survived by his two sons, Daniel Turro and his wife, Kim, and James Edward Turro, Jr., and his wife, Gloria; three daughters, Marjory Turro, Evelyn Allen and her husband, Jon, and Eileen McCormack and her husband, Michael; two sisters, Antionette Buccieri and her husband, Joe, and Betty Lou Bengston and her husband, Nils; grandchildren, Alexander Turro, Julia Turro, Dominick Davis, D’Angelo Davis, and Katherine Allen; and many more family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by his brothers, Peter and William Turro.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 5, at St. James Catholic Church, 2070 Main Street, Stratford. Interment will be privately held at St. Michaels Cemetery.
