AVONDALE ESTATES, GA -- Gregory George Nalesnik, 59, was born in Pompton Plains, New Jersey and raised in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in Asheville, North Carolina.
One of six siblings, he grew up in a family infused with music and raucous laughter. It was in this environment that he developed a love for the creation of music via his trusty Gibson SG guitar, which would lead him to the love of his life, Laura.
Together they created their own family with son Chris and daughter Anna Kate, and would raise them with respect, dignity and patience as core values.

His grandsons experienced his peacefulness and grace through frequent fishing trips to the local lake where they would spend hours together in the sun. He loved going to concerts, especially bluegrass, and watching Tarheel basketball.
In his work life, Greg was a software developer and business process consultant who helped companies find better ways to work as a team, most recently with Intellinet Corporation.
