National Signing Day: UGA Scores Big Again
See which five-star recruits inked deals with the Bulldogs on Wednesday and how Georgia fared overall in bringing players to Athens.

ATHENS, GA — It's been almost a month since they appeared in the National Championship Game, but the Georgia Bulldogs were still scoring big Wednesday on National Signing Day.
By noon Wednesday, Georgia had signed two more five-star prospects, bringing their total to eight in what many are calling the best recruiting class in college football. Coach Kirby Smart's staff also had successfully flipped two players who had committed to play for Alabama and Michigan and inked a deal with another top recruit.
In a nationally televised ceremony, Tyson Campbell, a cornerback from American Heritage High School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., chose the Bulldogs on Wednesday over Alabama and Miami. That made him the seventh five-star recruit joining this year's class — which was already the most ever for a Bulldogs squad.

Jordan Davis, a 6-foot-6, 330-pound defensive tackle from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, N.C., and Otis Reese, a linebacker out of Lee County High School, also had signed with UGA. Reese had previously committed to attend the University of Michigan.
And just before noon, five-star linebacker Quay Walker, out of Crisp County, flipped to Georgia after being committed to national champions Alabama since June.

Georgia's big recruiting scores came on what was expected to be a relatively muted day due to NCAA football' allowing its first-ever early signing day in December. That day, UGA landed an unprecedented haul of sought-after players, including the nation's top-ranked running back, in Smart's first full year of recruiting.
For perspective on how strong UGA's recruiting class has been this year, 247Sports reporter Kipp Adams notes that that Reese had been Michigan's top-ranked recruit of the 2018 class. After Walker's signing, he became UGA's 12-rated recruit.
In addition to the player's mentioned above, here's a look at recruits who have signed scholarship offers with Georgia as of noon on Wednesday. Check back for updates as the day continues.
