Denis H. Payne, a British native who was highly active in Avondale Estates civic affairs, died Sunday. He was 93.
His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, July 12 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur. The family will receive friends at 1:15 in the church narthex. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or a favorite charity .
