Portion Of Meadowvale Drive Closed For 'Powerpuff Girls' Filming

A section of Meadowvale Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. Thursday through late Friday evening for the filming of "Powerpuff Girls."

DECATUR, GA — A section of Meadowvale Drive in Decatur will be closed from 7 a.m. Thursday through 11 p.m. Friday for the filming of the live action "Powerpuff Girls" series.

Meadowvale Drive will be closed between Abby Lane and Marann Drive. Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the area during the road closure period, advising drivers of construction work in the area and of local traffic restrictions, per a DeKalb County news release.

"Powerpuff Girls" is a live action series based on the original "Powerpuff Girls" cartoon TV show that ran from 1998-2005, according to IMDB. The live action stars Chloe Bennett (you may have seen her in Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."), Dove Cameron (from Disney Channel's "Descendants" movies) and Broadway's Yana Perrault as Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, respectively.
