Report: Police to Drop Electricity Theft Charges Against Decatur Man

It seems common sense will prevail in the in the 4-cent electricity-theft caper.
Charges against a Decatur man for stealing 4 cents' worth of electricity in Chamblee are expected to be dropped, according to 11alive.com.
Kaveh Kamooneh spent 15 hours in jail in November when Chamblee Police arrested him for plugging in his Nissan Leaf at Chamblee Middle School.
While the arrest warrant stated that Kammoneh took $10 to $15 of electricity, Georgia Power said it would have been closer to 4 cents. Read 11alive's full report here.
