Steinbeck's, U-Joint Donating To Boston Victims
On Monday, the two Decatur restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to law enforcement officers hurt or killed in the Boston Marathon bombings.
Two Decatur restaurants, Steinbeck's and the Universal Joint, are donating some of Monday's proceeds to help law enforcement officers killed or injured in the Boston Marathon explosions.
The money will go to Humble Heroes, which defines itself as "a 501c(3) charity committed to standing behind the men and women in public safety."
M.I.T. Police Officer Sean Collier was killed in an April 19 shootout with the two men suspected of planting the bombs that killed three people April 15 near the marathon finish line.
