1. Free movie on the Decatur Square. DeKalb Medical presents the baby-oriented movie, "Nine Months."Pre-movie entertainment starts at 7:30 p.m. and the movie at dark. Free.
2. Poetry reading. Poets Mariana McDonald and Felton Eaddy will read and talk about their work at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Savage Pizza at 115 Laredo Dr, Avondale Estates. Free.

3. Sydney Rhame at Eddie's Attic. The homegrown musical prodigy performs at 8 p.m. Thursday at the venerable folk club. $8 in advance, $12 at the door.
4. Jumble sale. You'll find a little bit of everything on sale at the Church of the Epiphany at 2089 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE. Starts at 9 a.m. Saturday. Free admission.

5. Virginia Highland Summerfest 2013. One of the biggest and best community festivals in Atlanta starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday in John Howell Park at 801 Virginia Ave. NE. Check the festival website for details.
