Avondale Estates police are investigating two thefts.
On Jan. 27, a resident of the 100 block of Wiltshire drive reported that $125 in power tools had been taken from a detached garage in back of the residence.
On Jan. 20, it was reported that $260 in cash and items were taken from a 2003 Honda Civic parked in the 40 block of Covington Road. The car owner was from Atlanta.
