What Should Go Here? The Old Carpe Diem

Many loyal customers were upset when Carpe Diem restaurant closed in December.

Blogger Chris Callahan and his wife held their wedding reception at the restaurant next to the Ice House Lofts. He wrote that "Carpe Diem was a special place, I think.  It captured the spirit of Decatur – the kindness, the acceptance, the style, the 'chill-ness' that, I fear, is on the wane."

The building at 105 Sycamore Place, Decatur, is still empty.

What would you like to see move into the spot? It doesn't have to be a restaurant.
