Woman, 22, Dies In Crash On I-285: Report
The accident caused traffic backups throughout metro Atlanta during Friday morning's rush hour, says media report.
ATLANTA, GA — A fatal accident on Interstate 285 in DeKalb County snarled traffic throughout metro Atlanta early Friday morning, according to a media report. The crash took the life of a 22-year-old woman, WSB-TV Channel 2 reported.
The unidentified woman's vehicle was moving southbound on I-285 when it crashed into the back of a stopped tractor-trailer at Glenwood Road (exit 44), WSB-TV reported.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the TV station reported.
