50 New Jobs As Barco Expands In Gwinnett
The electronics manufacturer is bolstering its American headquarters in Gwinnett, adding jobs and investment.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — An electronics manufacturer is expanding operations in Gwinnett County, adding 50 new jobs and investing $5 million in its Gwinnett facility, according to a release from the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
Barco, a Belgium-based manufacturer of electronics for business, entertainment and medicine, has its American headquarters in Gwinnett.
"Our existing industries are a fundamental part of the backbone of our economic success in Georgia," said Pat Wilson, commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development, in the release. "Because of our highly-skilled workforce and unmatched universities and technical colleges, our state has become a hub for the tech industry. Barco’s expansion certainly serves as a testament to that success, and we are excited to watch their continued growth in the coming years."

The current workforce in the headquarters stands at 140.

"We are always happy to see an existing company expanding and reinvesting in Gwinnett. It’s a true testament to the strength of our business community."
