Astro: 'World’s Most Un-Adoptable Dog,' Or '47-Pound Goofball'
The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter has jokingly labeled Astro the "pup that would seem to be the world's most un-adoptable dog."

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — The Gwinnett County Animal Shelter has jokingly labeled Astro the "pup that would seem to be the world’s most un-adoptable dog if you saw his record."
By the look Astro is giving in his photo, he can't believe it.
Astro is a one-year-old guy has been adopted and returned four times. Apparently, he is full of energy! This could be due to his age, but his first new family wasn’t prepared for the puppy stage of a 47-pound goofball. Second, his next family had to relocate and couldn’t take him along. Thirdly, shelter pesonnel found out that he is a little too much for small children, and would do better with older kids in the home. And lastly, his new owners apparently had allergies once Astro’s dander set in.

"We still have hope, as does Astro," the shelter folks said in a Facebook post. "This guy is FULL of energy, but also FULL of love. The right family will have time, patience, experience, and a willingness to train and give this dude the time he needs to really settle in. A home WITHOUT small children and inhalers would be required too!"
