Atlanta Weather Forecast: A Cold Snap Is Coming To Georgia
It's mild now, but we're a little over a week away from freezing temperatures as a cold front moves in, forecasters say.

ATLANTA, GA — Enjoy these balmy final days of November and what's expected to be a mild beginning of December. The newest forecasts say winter is about to hit Georgia.
A stormy pattern and much colder air are on deck for the second week of December, though forecasters say it is still too early for specifics. Accuweather says, depending how low the jet stream dips, the Atlantic Seaboard could "turn significantly colder" come mid-December.
It's too early to say whether metro Atlanta will get snow, says Accuweather. But we can expect the weather during December to trend toward stormy and colder in a lot of places.

According to Accuweather's extended forecast, the bottom is going to drop out around Wednesday, Dec. 13. That day, the high will be about 47 degrees and the low will plummet all the way down to a freezing 25 degrees.
The lows will dip below freezing the next four days after that, Accuweather says, and the highs won't get out of the 40s.
