COVID Shots Available Through August At Georgia Gwinnett College

Working with the county health department, Georgia Gwinnett College will offer COVID-19 vaccinations twice weekly through early August.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — COVID vaccinations are now available for students, staff and the general public at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, walk-ins included, through early August.

Working with Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale County Health Departments, the college began offering Johnson & Johnson one-shot vaccines Friday at the Wellness and Recreation Center in Building F.

Starting next week, vaccinations will be offered every Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. and every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Aug. 4.

While the site will accept walk-ins, officials strongly encourage making an appointment to maximize the use of personnel and resources. Appointments can be made at studentaffairs@ggc.edu.
