Dead Man With Gunshot Wound Found In Gwinnett County Parking Lot

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Police on Thursday found a dead man with a gunshot wound lying in a parking lot in unincorporated Lawrenceville.

Gwinnett County Police officers had responded to a trouble-unknown call, directing them to a parking lot in the 1500 block of Riverside Parkway. When they arrived, they found a dead man lying outside a car. The medical examiner later found a gunshot wound on the victim. The incident was then turned over to Gwinnett’s homicide unit.

Authorities won’t identify the victim to the public until his next of kin has been notified.
