Election Day Voting In Loganville, Grayson For GA Senate Runoffs
Planning to vote in-person for the Georgia Senate runoff elections? Here's where and how you can vote in Loganville and Grayson on Jan. 5.
LOGANVILLE-GRAYSON, GA — The crucial Jan. 5 Senate runoff elections in Georgia are Tuesday, with millions of voters having already casted their ballots early, by mail or by absentee ballot drop boxes.
Voters in Loganville, Grayson and across the state will decide on races for U.S. Senate seats — and in turn, which political party will be the Senate’s majority leader — between Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and Republican incumbent Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, respectively.
Polls will be open statewide from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Jan. 5. If you are in line by 7 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot.

For Election Day voting, you must report to your designated polling place in order to cast your ballot. You can find your polling location on your voter registration card, by logging into the Secretary of State’s My Voter Page or by calling your County Board of Registrar’s Office.
Bring your photo ID with you. Upon arrival, a poll worker will check your ID, verify that you are registered to vote and at the correct polling location, give you a voter access card or ballot, and allow you to vote.

Absentee Ballots
Gwinnett and Walton counties are offering secure ballot drop boxes to provide eligible voters a way to return their voted absentee ballots for the Jan. 5 runoff. No postage is necessary on ballots placed in the drop boxes.
The ballot drop boxes feature 24-hour surveillance and will be available 24 hours a day.
After placing your voted absentee ballot in the privacy envelope and the completed oath envelope, you may return your ballot in an official ballot drop box located in or near Loganville here:
- Walton County Board of Elections, 1110 E. Spring St., Monroe
- Meridian Park, 101 Generation Boulevard, Loganville

- Grayson Branch Library, 700 Grayson Parkway, Grayson
- Gwinnett Voter Registrations & Elections Beauty P. Baldwin Building, 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, Lawrenceville
- Snellville Branch Library, 2740 Lenora Church Road, Snellville
If you voted by mail, your ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day to count. If you requested an absentee ballot, haven’t mailed your ballot in yet and want to vote in-person on Election Day, you are allowed to do so. Bring your unused absentee ballot with you to your designated polling place.
For voters who decide to vote in-person because they never received their absentee ballot after requesting one, poll workers must first verify that they did not already return their absentee ballot. Voters must then sign a form to cancel the absentee ballot before being allowed to vote in person.
If you encounter a problem at the polls, contact your County Board of Registrar's Office or the Georgia Secretary of State. Call the Secretary of State at 404-656-2871 (in metro Atlanta) or 877-725-9797 (elsewhere in Georgia) to report an issue. You can also submit a complaint online to the Secretary of State Elections Division.
