Metro Atlanta is in for a few soggy days, according to the National Weather Service.

ATLANTA, GA — We'll all spring forward this weekend and, according to the weather forecast, the spring showers will be arriving in the Atlanta area right on cue.

But it looks like the warmer temperatures will have to wait.

After rain on Friday, we could have a nice day on Saturday, when the skies are expected to stay clear. After that? Better have an umbrella handy.

Temperature-wise, we're looking at a bit of a dip this weekend, with the low Sunday night forecast to get all the way down to 36 degrees.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10 a.m., then a slight chance of showers between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Mostly clear Friday night, with a low around 37.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 61. Rain is likely Saturday night, mainly after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Sunday: Rain likely before 2 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 52. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Mostly cloudy Sunday night, with a low around 36.
