Grayson High Technical Education Program Holding Open House

Grayson High School Technical Education Program, along with many charter schools in Gwinnett County, is hosting an information session and registration day for the 2014-2015 school year in the upcoming weeks. 

The career-focused special program housed at Grayson High will have an open house Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. . Registration for the new school year opens Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.

Other non-traditional public schools in Gwinnett County with registration and open dates are: 

• Gwinnett Online Campus: Informational meetings will be held Jan. 23, Feb. 10, and Feb. 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for students in grades 4-12 interested in attending. Webinar sessions will be available Jan. 28 and Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m., and there will be an open house Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon. Registration for full-time students will be open from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28.
• Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology will hold the final informational meeting for interested 8th graders on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. The registration deadline is Jan. 31. If more registrations are received than available seats, the school will hold a public lottery in February.
• Maxwell High School of Technology begins online registration on Feb. 1.
• New Life Academy of Excellence is preparing for kindergarten enrollment from Jan. 13-17, 2014. For more information, call 678-720-9870.
