Gwinnett Restaurant Inspections: Bambinelli's, Pappadeaux

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Now that pandemic restrictions are being relaxed and restaurants are reopening, are you thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last week or so in Gwinnett County.

Most of the 64 restaurants and food-service operations inspected scored an A, with 10 operations rating a perfect 100. But five restaurants — Crossing Bridge Rice Noodle, Jan Choong Dong and Pho Ga Tony Tony in Duluth; and Ko Kai Thai Bistro and Space Event Center in Norcross — scored less than 70 and were deemed "unacceptable." Those restaurants have direct links to their inspection reports with their listings below. Restaurants with failing scores are typically given a second chance and re-inspected a week or so later.

How They're Rated

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more points

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70, and U for less than 70.
