Gwinnett Restaurant Inspections: Five Guys, Three Dollar Cafe

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Thinking of going out for a bite to eat? Then check out these inspection scores for restaurant and food-service operations conducted over the last week in Gwinnett County.

Most of the 64 restaurants inspected since May 13 scored an A, with 13 operations scoring a perfect score of 100. Also, three Norcross restaurants that previously had been rated "unacceptable" — Connor's NY Deli and Wings, Kohinoor Express and Spice It Up — were re-inspected. Connor's scored 97 points and an A, while the other two restaurants scored 87 and a B.

How They're Rated

Each item on an inspection form has a point value ranging from 1 to 9 points, with violations deducting points from the best possible score of 100. Higher points are taken for items with higher risk to cause illness, while repeat violations take even more poin

Letter grades assigned are A for totals of 100 to 90 points, B for 89 to 80, C for 79 to 70, and U for less than 70.
