Families now have until Nov. 29 to choose in-person or online instruction this spring for their children in Gwinnett public schools.

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — Parents now have until the end of November to choose in-person or online education for their children in Gwinnett County Public Schools for the coming semester.

The district has extended the window for families to make their decision to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29. Choices or changes can be made through the Parent Portal on the Gwinnett County schools website. That choice will be displayed the next day, according to district spokesperson Sloan Roach.

The deadline to choose had originally been Monday.

Families without a parent-portal account can visit the Gwinnett County Public Schools website for information or contact their local school to request one.
