
Georgia Lakes Society is hosting a free Lake Workshop on Saturday morning, February 28, 2015, 9:30 – Noon, at the Stone Mountain Park Environmental Education Center. For pre-registrants, entrance to the park is free also. The purpose is to present information on lake management practices and discuss some of the major challenges to small lakes and ponds. Speakers will cover sediment control, dam maintenance, landscaping for lakeshores, and how citizens can understand and help increase the water quality of lakes. There will be opportunities to ask questions.
