Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?

Watson: I have been a guest of EWC for many years. I have been to locations in North Carolina, New York, Virginia and Georgia. At each location, I had a great experience from the customer service to the actual services. Also, the quality of service is amazing all around! Because of how wonderful my many experiences were, I decided to look into joining the EWC Franchise.
Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger in five words, what would those words be?
Watson: Making women/men feel more confident.
Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?
Watson: As franchisee and acting manager, I juggle many tasks and it can get overwhelming sometimes. The key is being very organized and not stressing too much.
Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Watson: There are quite a few things I find to be satisfying. I absolutely love meeting all the guests that come into the shop. Multiple days a week, I work the front of the shop just to interact with the guests. There are so many different people from all over that come into the shop. The reactions of guests that are satisfied with their results is also very rewarding. Our motto is "Walk in, Strut Out" for a reason.
Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Watson: We genuinely care about every guest and their skin. Each guest leaves the center knowing exactly how to solve the skin and hair issues (razor bumps, ingrown hairs, dark spots, thicker eyebrows, etc.) they came to us with. It is important to us that all of our guests are knowledgeable on how to take care of their skin in between waxes.
Patch: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given when it comes to success?
Watson: The best piece of advice I have been given so far for this business is to tackle whatever issue I may have as soon as it arises. I have found it easier on me to just take care of what needs to be taken care of as soon as it comes up. It is less stressful in the long run.
Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?
Watson: I am super excited about something we call “Brow Bar.” We will be waxing eyebrows complimentary for select days inside the shop! This gives many guests in our community the chance to try out our quality products and services.
Patch: Do you have any events coming up in your community?
Watson: We are actually in the process of planning a couple events for the summer with the other EWC's in ATL.
Patch: How can Patch readers learn more about your work and business?
Watson: Visit our website or follow us on Instagram and Twitter.
