Loganville Lake Home Suffers Heavy Fire Damage

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that caused heavy damage to a for-sale home in Loganville Sunday evening.

Gwinnett County firefighters responded to a report from “neighbors across the lake” of a house fire that caused heavy damage to a single-story home on Bob White Lane in Loganville Sunday evening.

Crews arrived at the 3600 block of bob White Lane around 9:35 p.m. to find a vacant wood frame house engulfed in flames. Heavy fire was already burning through the roof when firefighters deployed attack hose lines. Firefighters initially fought the fire from outside the structure after part of the roof collapsed at the right-back corner of the house.

Crews were able to contain the fire in less than 30 minutes.

Firefighters at the scene spoke to the homeowner, who said that the house was recently renovated and was currently up for sale. Nobody lives in the house and no one was at the property when firefighters and police arrived. No injuries were reported.

The fire department is actively working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
