Loganville Mayor Rey Martinez Travels To The White House

LOGANVILLE, GA—Mayor Rey Martinez left for Washington, D.C. Thursday after accepting an invitation from the White House to join other mayors from across the country in a discussion on transforming america's communities.

The event is expected to bring together local and federal leaders with President Donald Trump offering remarks.

According to city officials, this is the fourth time the mayor has been invited to the nation's capitol, taking part in other White House-sponsored discussions on infrastructure as well as Hispanic Heritage Month activities.
