In Memory: Dottie Palmer, 72, of Loganville

Mrs. Palmer was born and raised in Walton County, was a self-employed chef and caterer for many years and was a member of Walnut Grove UMC.

Mrs. Dottie Palmer, age 72 of Loganville, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, November 6, 2015 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Loganville. Minister Don Hardison and Minister Lester Waters will officiate.

Mrs. Palmer was born and raised in Walton County. She was a self employed Chef and Caterer for many years and was a member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Mrs. Palmer was a long time golfer and a fierce competitor on the course. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many.

Mrs. Palmer is survived by her Husband, Ron Palmer of Loganville; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Melissa & David Thomas of Grayson; Amanda & Keith Ellis of Monticello; Grandchildren: Allison Taylor, Gil Diaz, III, Zack Ellis; Great Grandchild: Emerson Diaz; Brother & Sister-in-law: Charles & Nancy Camp of Loganville; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Helen & Donald Allgood of Loganville; Shelvia & Roy Westmoreland of Loganville; Several Nieces & Nephews.

Flowers are accepted or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made as a new unopened toy for a boy or girl that can be dropped off at the Bear Creek Golf Club, Monroe, for Toys For Tots.
