Joann Jones Cook, age 85 of Monroe, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Monroe. Rev. Mike Taylor and Jim Harshman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery.

A native of Monroe, GA Mrs. Cook was a member of First Christian Church of Monroe. As a homemaker, she also worked with her husband for many years in the family business Cooks Plumbing and Heating keeping the books,

She is preceded by her husband of 45 years Troy Cook in 1993.

Surviving are daughters and Sons-in-law: Elaine & Josh Thompson, Anne & Danny Jones all of Monroe, Sister: Sara Guinn of Loganville, Grandchildren: Brian & Tracey Thompson, Danny & Sheila Thompson, Lesley & Doug Bowick, Great Grandchildren: Chelsey Thompson, Anna Thompson, Troy Thompson, Will Bowick, and several nieces & nephews. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Thursday November 12, 2015 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
