Missing Loganville Teen Was Last Seen Tuesday: Police

David Canup, 18, of Loganville was last seen Tuesday and is described as having bleached blonde hair, say Gwinnett police.

LOGANVILLE, GA — The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public for tips in locating a missing 18-year old from Loganville.

David Canup has been reported missing by his parents from their home on Misty Rose Lane in unincorporated Loganville. He was last seen at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, the police said.

The police description states that he is white, 6 feet tall, and weighs 130 pounds with bleached blonde hair. Canup was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, black jeans, a black denim jacket and black and white Converse sneakers.

The teenager wears black-framed glasses and has a gap in his front teeth. Canup "has a medical condition which gives him the mentality of a young teen," the police said in a statement.

He sometimes wears female clothing, the police said, adding that "when he dresses himself as a woman, he prefers to be called 'Emma.'"
