Motorcycle Accident In Loganville Leaves Man Dead

Bailey Hill, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound on State Route 10 when the accident occurred, according to police.

A motorcycle driver died early Thursday morning in an accident on State Route 10 (Highway 78) and Rosebud Road in Loganville. The accident happened at about 8:30 a.m., Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) said in a news release.

Bailey Hill, 22, of Monroe, was traveling eastbound on State Route 10. He was driving a red 2007 motorcycle. The driver of a blue GMC Acadia was traveling northbound on Rosebud Road, GCPD said.

"According to the preliminary investigation, it appears as though Bailey Hill ran a red light and collided with the SUV. He was ejected from the motorcycle and died at a local hospital. Following the impact, the driver of the SUV veered off the roadway and ran over a sign," GCPD added.

Both vehicles were impounded to Gwinnett County Police Headquarters for further analysis.
