3 Accused Of Killing Barrow Woman Caught Saturday In Mexico

Three suspects accused in connection with the death of Rossana Delgado were arrested Saturday in Mexico. Two others are still at large.

GEORGIA — Three of the five suspects wanted in connection with the death of a Barrow County cab driver are awaiting extradition Monday from Texas after being arrested over the weekend in Mexico, according to a statement from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Working with Homeland Security as well as authorities in both Texas and Mexico, the GBI on Saturday coordinated the arrests of Megan Colone, 30, of Stone Mountain, and Oscar Manuel Garcia, 26, of Austell. Authorities also arrested Juan Antonio Vega, 25, who had not previously been identified publicly and was seen only in security footage. Vega, a Cobb County resident, was with Garcia when they were arrested.

Colone had been traveling with her children, who were safely returned to the United States during the arrest operations.

Warrants for the five suspects were issued in connection with the death of Rosanna Delgado, 37, of Bethlehem, Georgia. Delgado’s body was found on April 20 during a welfare check at a cabin in Gilmer County. She had disappeared the previous week.
