New Principal Named For Rosebud Elementary By Gwinnett Board
A new principal for Rosebud Elementary School was one of several promotions announced by the Gwinnett County Board of Education.

LOGANVILLE, GA — Rosebud Elementary School in Loganville has a new principal.
The Gwinnett Board of Education named Brittany Riddick at its Oct. 15 meeting as Rosebud’s top educator. She will fill the position held by Monica Ball, who is currently on leave.
Riddick was most recently assistant principal at Shiloh Elementary School in Snellville. Before that, she worked as a teacher in Atlanta Public Schools and Clayton County Public Schools.

Riddick holds a bachelor’s degree in middle-grades education, math and science, from Western Michigan University, and a master’s degree in curriculum, instruction and assessment from Walden University.

- Dr. Michele Smith as the Executive Director of Internal Resolution and Compliance/Title IX Coordinator. Smith is currently principal of Jenkins Elementary School in Lawrenceville. She replaces Joyce Spraggs, who is retiring this month. Smith had previously been principal of Suwanee Elementary School, assistant principal at Jenkins, and a teacher at Dacula Middle School and Cedar Hill Elementary School in Lawrenceville.
- Molly McAuliffe as principle of Stripling Elementary School in Norcross. She currently is assistant principal at Harris Elementary School in Duluth.
- Clay Hunter as Gwinnett County’s Interim Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instructional Support. He replaces Johnathan Patterson, who left to become superintendent of Fayette County Schools, according to The Gwinnett Daily Post.
