Obituary and Funeral Arrangements: Irene Williams Jones, 88, of Grayson

Irene Williams Jones, age 88 of Grayson, passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 2013.  A funeral service will be held 11AM, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church  of   Loganville.   Rev. Ronnie Kendall and Rev. Jimmy Wilson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville.  

A homemaker, Mrs. Jones, was a member of First Baptist Church of Loganville.  She served along side her first  husband in ministry for over 40 years.  Mrs. Jones was  preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. R. T. Williams in 1996 and her son-in-law,  William R. Kirby, Jr. in 1994.  She is survived by her husband, Lamar Jones of  Lawrenceville; Children: Carol Kirby of Grayson; Ray & Carolyn Williams of Savannah; 6 Grand-children; 5 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  

In lieu of flowers memorials to Alzheimer?s Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Georgia 30346.  The Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052. 770-466-1544.
