MADDIX – James A. “Jim” Maddix, age 60 of Grayson, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, May 10, 2013 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Smith officiating.

A member of Snellville United Methodist Church, Mr. Maddix, was a District Manager with Healthcare Services Group, Inc. He also worked in Sales & Promotions in the music industry from 1970-1996 and loved playing the guitar. Mr. Maddix was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Maddix, and brother, Thomas Maddix. He is survived by his Wife of 36 years: Charlene Agor Maddix, Grayson; Children: Ivy Maddix Van Huynh and husband, Bobby Van Huynh, Atlanta; Natalie Maddix of Grayson and fiancé’: Briley Hale of Snellville; Mother: Faith Maddix, Asheville, NC; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Gary & Elaine Maddix, Lilburn; Ronald & Shirley Maddix, Ft. Myers, FL; Robert & Angela Maddix, Asheville, NC; Nieces & Nephews: Emily Maddix Tyre, Michelle Maddix Lipovsky, Stephen Maddix, Dawn Dial, Niko Maddix, Olivia Maddix, John Weaver, Lora Wingo and Jack Wingo.
