One Person Dies In Loganville House Fire
One person dies, seven others displaced in a Tuesday fire at a single-family home in the Loganville area: Gwinnett fire department.

LOGANVILLE, GA — A person who was rescued Tuesday from a house fire in Loganville has died at a local hospital, according to Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services. The fire department declined to identify the individual, who was extricated from a blaze that displaced seven other people — three adults and four children.
Firefighters responded at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday to the report of a fire in the 2400 block of Tribble Gates Drive SE in unincorporated Loganville. On arrival, they found a two-story, single family, wood-frame house with heavy flames coming from the front of the structure and black smoke pouring from the windows.
As crews battled the fire, they received word that an adult occupant was still inside. They immediately entered the burning home and extricated the individual, who was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the seven people displaced by the fire.
The fire department said that the fire victim's name will be released by the Medical Examiner’s office when it's available.

The house sustained extensive damage, especially on the second floor and attic areas, the fire department said. Fire investigators determined that the blaze originated in the living room area, but the cause is under investigation.
