Partnering With Parents to Build a Love of Learning

Celebrate with the Chingirian family...Our Family of the Month!

The Chingirian family has been chosen as our Family of the Month for October. The Chingirians have been a part of our Primrose family since the August of 2015. Roger and Katie are the proud parents of Casey and Chyleigh. Chyleigh is a student in our Early Preschool 1 classroom and Casey a student in our Private Kindergarten class. The Chingirians round out their family with a Maltese named Schroeder.

The Chingirians moved to Georgia from Los Angeles in 2015 and the 2200 mile road trip turned out to be one of their greatest family experiences. They had the opportunity to explore unique places and attractions, play road games, learning about all the states they passed through, and witnessing the distinct changes in landscape as they headed east. It was an adventure they still talk about today with great enthusiasm.

Roger, Katie, Casey, and Chyleigh enjoy just about anything having to do with the outdoors. Their favorite hobbies include camping, hiking, and swimming, going to the beach and the lake, and doing arts and crafts. On a typical weekend, you will find them running and biking at Lenora Park, exploring Georgia, and in the Fall, rooting for the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans. I hear they also have a slight obsession with checking their fantasy football scores!

The Chingirian family shares their Primrose experience:

“When Roger asked me to move to Atlanta with the girls last year while he worked on a project, my first answer was no. The thought of packing, moving across the country, finding a new home and new school was extremely daunting. Nonetheless, I agreed, but told him I would only stay for nine months. He told me I might actually like it and I assured him I would not. Famous last words!

A month into the school year, I told Roger I wanted to stay longer, and by the spring, I wanted to stay indefinitely. Primrose School of Five Forks played a huge part in that decision.

The same principles and values that we hold toward people and the community are just as important here. Not only is the quality of education my children receive exceptional, but the organization and frequent communication by the staff and teachers is outstanding. At Casey’s former school, I was always in the dark with what she was learning. Here, with the Tadpoles system, I know exactly what her day entails and I can even see snap shots of her day. To me, this is invaluable! Above all, there is much love and kindness that radiates within these hallways. This not only extends to my girls but heightens my day as well. The courtesy that is given on a daily basis and the level of commitment to children is unmatched. From all the amazing activities and functions, to the field trips and celebrations, this school brings everyone together in a positive manner. I am a person with high standards, and this school has not only met, but exceeded them. Where I began to get disheartened about my children’s education, I found Primrose School of Five Forks, and my faith was restored.

What started out as a nine-month journey has now been extended indefinitely. We can easily say Primrose School of Five Forks has played a hand in altering the course of our lives and in possibly calling Georgia home. We have gained two smarter, kinder and happier kids while being here, and for that we are extremely grateful!”

Congratulations to the Chingirian Family!
