Severe Weather Class Offered By Gwinnett's Emergency Management

GWINNETT COUNTY, GA -- To help residents better identify dangerous weather, Gwinnett's Office of Emergency Management is offering a free class on May 1.
The Severe Weather Program focuses on how to identify potential severe weather features, the basics of storms structure and development, and how to report incidents of severe weather to the National Weather Service.
Those who don't want to become an active storm spotter are still encouraged to attend to learn how storms work and the visual clues to identify severe storms.

The Office of Emergency Management is partnering with the National Weather Service to present this severe weather program in the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center auditorium, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville. The event will be held at 6:00pm.
