Trip Elementary School in Grayson Welcomes New Principal
Eight new principals were appointed to Gwinnett County schools over the summer, including Trip Elementary School in Grayson.

Students returning to school this year will be welcomed by new principals at several Gwinnett County Public Schools, including Trip Elementary in Grayson which welcomes Dr. Rukina Walker. She is one of eight Gwinnett principals  who were appointed over the summer to lead other schools. In addition, 11 other leaders will begin their first full year at their current schools.Â
New principals for 2013-14:
- Valerie Robinett—Camp Creek Elementary
- Carrie Yougel—Duncan Creek Elementary
- Tamara Candis—Hopkins ElementaryDaniel Skelton—Level Creek Elementary
- Dr. Allan Gee—Mountain Park Elementary
- Penny Clavijo—Rock Springs Elementary
- Dr. Rukina Walker—Trip Elementary
- Marci Sledge—Pinckeneyville Middle
