When Will It Stop Raining?

Flood watch continues across region through most of Monday, according to National Weather Service.

As rain continues to come down across the region, a flood watch will remain in effect for the area until 7 p.m. Monday night.

Additional rainfall amounts between 1 to 2 inches are possible on top of what has already fallen.

More debris will likely clog drains, according to the National Weather Service, along with the threat of tree and power lines downed by any thunderstorms due to wet soil.

The current forecast for the Atlanta area calls for the rain to end around 4 p.m., with a chance of rain until 6 p.m. Then, only a slight chance of rain as the storm moves out of the area prior to the watch expiring.
