Butterfly Encounter Returns to Chattahoochee Nature Center

When making your summer bucket list, make sure to include the Butterfly Encounter at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

5th Annual Butterfly Encounter at the Chattahoochee Nature Center

The year’s most popular exhibit, Butterfly Encounter at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, returns for your summer bucket list destination. Presenting sponsors Cox Enterprises and Northside Hospital bring this special outdoor exhibit that is open daily until 4:30 pm from June 4 – July 31, and is included with General Admission and FREE to CNC Members.

The Butterfly Encounter at the Chattahoochee Nature Center is a highlight of summer fun! Enter the encounter and be amazed as these butterflies float above your head and fly below your nose. It's easy to get up close to the butterflies, and you even have a chance to feed them using a nectar stick. Each of the species in the encounter is native to Georgia, so you are sure to walk away more familiar with our local species and butterfly biology! Be sure to bring your camera, the Butterfly Encounter is an exhibit where memories are made, and photos that will become your personal keepsakes are taken.
