Alsip: 90 Years of Change

The Village of Alsip is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year. In recognition of the occasion, the Alsip-Merrionette Park Public Library District will host the program “Alsip: 90 Years of Change” on Wednesday, April 26 at 7 PM.

Join historical geographer Sherry Meyer of InSites and member of the Calumet Heritage Partnership as she covers the changing geography of our area from farmland to brick manufacturing to the community of today.
