Alsip Park District Shows Free Movie In the Park 'Coco'

The Alsip Park District presents Academy Award-winning family film 'CoCo' this Friday, July 27, at Commissioners Park. Free.

ALSIP, IL -- Disney Pixar’s beautiful animated 2017 film “CoCo” will be beamed on an inflatable screen this Friday, July 27, in Commissioners Park, 12600 S. Kedzie Ave., Alsip. The movie starts at dusk and is part of the Alsip Park District’s “Movie In the Park” series. “CoCo” is rated PG.

“CoCo” won Academy Awards for best animated feature film and best song. The coming-of-age drama follows young Miguel who dreams of becoming an accomplished musician despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, Miguel ends up in the Land of the Dead and unlocks the real story of his family’s history.
