Alsip Sets Trick-Or-Treat Hours

The Village of Alsip develops plan for safe Halloween amid surge in south suburban COVID-19 cases.

ALSIP, IL — The Village of Alsip has announced trick-or-treat hours for Halloween, which this year falls on Saturday, Oct. 31. Candy-grabbing will happen from 1 to 6 p.m.

The village has developed a plan to accommodate a safe Halloween for both participants and non-participants amid the pandemic.

Residents who wish to participate in the festivities are asked to keep their porch light on and to display a sign indicating they welcome trick-or-treaters and residents who want to sit out Halloween in 2020. Vulnerable residents with underlying conditions should not feel pressured to hand out candy this year.
